deep web

What is the Deep Web? Unlike the surface web, the deep web is not searchable by traditional search engines. Instead, it uses web crawlers to find content. These web crawlers follow hyperlinks through known protocol virtual port numbers. The deep web also contains pay-for-service sites. These sites require a password and user ID to access their content. They often block search engine bots from visiting their site.
