Often called the Dark Web, the Deep Web is part of the Internet that is hidden from the eyes of most casual internet users. It is not malicious. Its content is generally well maintained and relatively safe. Deep Web content includes private social media sites, electronic health records, and electronic bank statements. It is also home to private emails and chat conversations. These are all stored in private databases that are not indexed by search engines.
